Duke commit R.J. Barrett has been named the 2018 Naismith High School Boys' Player of the Year.

The award is given out by the Atlanta Tipoff Club.

Barrett, a 6-foot-7 forward for Florida's Montverde Academy, is the second Canadian to capture the honor in the last six years - Andrew Wiggins won it in 2013. Barrett is the consensus No. 1 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
