The Kansas State Wildcats could be getting a game-changing boost for their Sweet 16 showdown against Kentucky, as junior forward Dean Wade will reportedly try to play Thursday, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
If Wade is able to play, he will be "limited" Rothstein notes.
Wade hasn't suited up since March 8 during a Big 12 tournament semifinal win over TCU, and has been sitting out with a foot injury. He was even seen in a walking boot last week
The Wildcats' leading scorer averaged 16.5 points, and also led his team in rebounding with 6.3 boards per contest.
The "Battle of the Wildcats" tips off at 9:37 p.m. ET.
