Twitter reacts to underdog Loyola Chicago advancing to Elite Eight
The glass slipper still fits.
Loyola Chicago continues to dance after its Sweet 16 victory over Nevada, winning its third tournament game as the underdog 11-seed.
Twitter went crazy for Sister Jean and the Ramblers following the win, as they are now one win away from the Final Four. Here are some of the reactions:
Cinderella marches on as Loyola Chicago moves on and will face the winner of Kentucky and Kansas State. Great effort by Nevada coming back but Loyola’s dream keeps rolling. Thanks to sister Jean’s prayers

Per @ESPNStatsInfo, Loyola joins Saint Joseph’s in 1981 as the only teams to make the Elite Eight by a combined margin of victory of four points over three games.

Non-Jesuits, don’t even try this.
Witness to the postgame as Loyola entered inside the locker room and I have never seen a more chill Sweet 16 winner. @RamblersMBB act like they belong, just like they play.
