Middle Tennessee has found its replacement for Kermit Davis on Saturday, hiring UNC Asheville's Nick McDevitt as the program's next head coach, the team announced.
The deal will reportedly keep McDevitt under contract for five years, per Goodman.
McDevitt has been commanding the Bulldogs' bench since taking over head coaching duties in 2013, amassing an overall record of 98-65 to go along with a Big Dance berth in 2016.
Davis was named head man at Ole Miss last week after leading the Blue Raiders to NCAA tournament appearances in 2013, 2016, and 2017.
