NCAA announces Final Four sites for 2023-26
The NCAA announced Monday that the men's Final Four will be hosted by Houston's NRG Stadium in 2023, by Arizona's University of Phoenix Stadium in 2024, by San Antonio's Alamodome in 2025, and by Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium in in 2026.
All four facilities have hosted a Final Four in the past four years. Meanwhile, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Detroit all submitted bids that were not successful.
U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis is on deck to host next spring's Final Four, and will be followed by Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium in 2020, Indianapolis again in 2021, and New Orleans in 2022.
In order to maximize attendance, the Final Four has been held in domed football or baseball stadiums every year since 1997. The last standard-sized basketball arena to host the event was in East Rutherford, N.J., in 1996.
