Cade Cunningham is keeping it close to the family.
The five-star point guard and No. 2 overall prospect in the 2020 ESPN100 announced on Tuesday that he's committed to Oklahoma State.
Cunningham's older brother Cannen was hired as a Cowboys assistant coach in June. The 6-foot-7 Dallas-area native was also considering offers from North Carolina, Kentucky, Florida, and Washington.
"To be honest I was this close to picking a different school," he said. "But blood is always thicker than water."
Cunningham has been starring for the past two seasons at Florida prep powerhouse Montverde Academy, the same program that produced NBAers RJ Barrett, Ben Simmons, and D'Angelo Russell.
