Duke's O'Connell enters transfer portal

Duke junior guard Alex O'Connell is entering the transfer portal, he announced on social media Saturday.

O'Connell averaged 5.2 points in 29 games with the Blue Devils this season. He played 13.3 minutes per contest and made six starts.

The 20-year-old also averaged 4.3 points and 1.8 rebounds while shooting 36.1% from deep over three seasons at Duke.
