Columbia transfer Patrick Tape reaffirmed his commitment to Duke on Sunday.
Tape initially committed to Duke on March 24 before reopening his recruitment eight days later to further deliberate his future. He also considered attending Georgetown and Syracuse, according to Jeff Borzello of ESPN.
"I thought I rushed into it at first, but I realized that it was the best fit for me," Tape told ESPN.
The 6-foot-10 forward sat out this past season due to a toe injury and his desire to transfer schools, according to Stadium's Jeff Goodman.
Tape averaged 11.3 points and 5.9 rebounds in 27 games as a junior in 2018-19.
