Baylor guard Jared Butler has declared for the 2020 NBA Draft, he announced Monday on Twitter.

Butler is maintaining his college eligibility and won't sign with an agent ahead of the draft.

"Playing in the NBA has been a lifelong goal, and I am excited for these next steps in my basketball journey," Butler wrote.

The sophomore led the Bears in scoring in 2019-20, averaging 16 points while adding 3.1 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

Baylor finished the regular season ranked second in the nation with a 26-4 record and posted an impressive 15-3 mark in Big 12 play.
