Former Stony Brook guard Elijah Olaniyi is transferring to Miami, he announced Sunday.
Olaniyi is expected to sit out the upcoming season and play in 2021-22.
He led Stony Brook in scoring as a junior during 2019-20, averaging 18 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.6 steals in 28 games while shooting 36.1% from deep.
In three seasons with the Seawolves, he put up 12.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest.
Olaniyi committed to Miami over interest from Arkansas, Nevada, Minnesota, Xavier, and a host of other schools, according to 247Sports' Evan Daniels.
