Kentucky secures commitment from 5-star 2022 recruit Skyy Clark
Five-star guard Skyy Clark is committing to Kentucky's 2022 class, he announced Thursday on Instagram.
Clark picked the Wildcats over interest from North Carolina, Memphis, and UCLA.
The Nashville native is ranked 19th overall on the 2022 ESPN 60.
"It has been a blessing to be recruited by John Calipari and his staff," Clark told ESPN's Paul Biancardi. "He is not only a legend in college basketball but in the world of basketball. He is an amazing coach and a better person. I love Coach Cal, he keeps it real and makes no promises."
Clark is Kentucky's first commit for 2022. He's regarded as one of the better playmakers in the class but is also a talented shooter with impressive finishing ability at the rim.
Clark's father, Kenny, said they're not focused on reclassifying the highly touted prospect to the 2021 class, according to Adam Zagoria of Zagsblog.
