Report: Gillespie cleared to return to basketball-related activities

Villanova guard Collin Gillespie has been fully cleared to return to all basketball-related activities following his recovery from a significant knee injury, CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein reports.

The Wildcats star was ruled out for the remainder of the season on March 4 after an MRI confirmed he tore his MCL.
Gillespie had a strong senior year for Villanova before being shut down. He finished the season averaging 13.9 points and 4.6 assists per game en route to being a Bob Cousy Award finalist.
