Villanova's Moore goes down late with non-contact leg injury
Villanova may have won Saturday's Elite Eight contest against Houston, but its national championship hopes were dealt a major blow after Justin Moore's late-game injury.
The team's second-leading scorer - at 15 points per game - fell to the floor while driving the ball in the final minutes of the Wildcats' victory. His leg seemed to give out without any contact from the defender.
Moore was very emotional while sitting on the bench, and his teammates came to support him after the final buzzer.

Villanova guard Collin Gillespie was dealt a similar blow last season, going down with a knee injury late in the campaign and missing the team's tournament run. He felt it was important to support Moore.
"I've been in that position before, and I know what it feels like," Gillespie told reporters after the game. He added, "A lot of our guys ran right over to him because we're not in the position that we are without him."
While the team has yet to make any comment on Moore's availability moving forward, the Wildcats may have to pull off the two victories needed to take home the March Madness crown without their starting guard.
Villanova will face the winner of the contest between No. 1 Kansas and No. 10 Miami in the Final Four next Saturday.
