Two-time national championship-winning coach Rick Pitino was reportedly the victim of robbery at his St. John's office.

The NYPD is investigating after two yet-to-be-identified men stole $375 worth of items from Pitino's office inside Carnesecca Arena on Tuesday, including a sword, basketball, bullhorn, mask, and bottles of alcohol, according to a report from the New York Post.

Pitino tweeted Thursday that a 1985 bottle of Petrus Pomerol wine was among the items stolen.

The alleged thieves entered Carnesecca Arena around 6 p.m. and later left the Queens campus on a moped with the stolen items, the Post reports.

"The university shared surveillance footage with the NYPD and is assisting in the ongoing investigation," the St. John's athletics department said in a statement.

Pitino was named head coach at St. John's in March 2023 after spending the previous three seasons at Iona. The New York native led St. John's to a 20-13 record in his first season.
