Five-star guard Mikel Brown Jr., the No. 11 prospect on the ESPN 100, committed to Louisville, the school announced during Wednesday's contest against North Carolina.
Brown is Louisville's first commit for the 2025 cycle. He's the fifth-ranked remaining prospect and the top guard available.
The 6-foot-3 guard picked the Cardinals over programs including Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas, UCF, and Indiana.
Louisville is fifth in the ACC with a 9-5 record and a 6-3 conference mark in Pat Kelsey's first season. The Cardinals have won three straight contests.
