Texas Tech's Toppin, McCasland ejected in win over Houston

Texas Tech forward JT Toppin was assessed a flagrant-2 foul and ejected early in Saturday's 82-81 overtime victory against No. 6 Houston.
Toppin was tossed after his leg made contact with a Houston defender as the Red Raiders forward jumped to make a pass out of a double team.
Texas Tech head coach Grant McCasland was also ejected for arguing the call.
Senior guard Chance McMillian stepped up in Toppin's absence, recording 23 points and five rebounds.
Toppin is the Red Raiders' leading scorer and rebounder, averaging 16.4 points and 8.9 boards per game entering Saturday.
No. 22 Texas Tech improved to 17-4 with the victory, including an 8-2 record in conference play. The Red Raiders pushed their winning streak to six.
