VIDEO: Buzzer-beating three by Duke Mondy lifts Oakland past UIC
The Oakland Golden Grizzlies trailed the Illinois-Chicago Flames by two with four seconds to play in Saturday's meeting in Rochester, and rather than give the final shot to senior guard Travis Bader who has hit 88 of 227 three-point attempts on the year, the final shot went to fellow senior Duke Monday, and his shot was money.
Oakland won the game 76-75.
"It was just a regular shot. I had ice in my veins ... I feel like I deserved to make that shot with all of my preparation." -- Duke Mondy
