Connecticut got some bad news in advance of the team's AAC showdown with Cincinnati.

Daniels had missed the team's game against Houston after suffering a high ankle sprain on Jan. 25 against Rutgers, but the team held out hope that he would be able to go on Thursday.
Daniels is averaging 13.7 points and 5.6 rebounds this season.
