Updated Tournament Odds: Round of 64 changes little
The Round of 64 changed little in the eyes of the betting public, as the odds to win the NCAA Tournament haven't moved much following two days of intense action.
No team with a realistic chance of winning the tournament saw a major change in their odds, though some of the lower-seeded contenders saw small bumps. The longshots also saw their odds reduced, with no team's odds being worse than 300-to-1. This is entirely expected - with the field now cut in half, the path to the title is shorter for each team.
The biggest shocker is, of course, Duke being eliminated. They entered play with the sixth-best odds at 12-to-1, and given the team's popularity, there are surely some disappointed bettors.
Other than Duke, though, your bets are mostly safe for now.
For what it's worth, the model from analytics site FiveThirtyEight.com sees Louisville as the most likely champion with a 14 percent chance, followed by Florida at 12 percent and Arizona at 11 percent.
