Danny Manning completes coaching staff at Wake Forest
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - New Wake Forest basketball coach Danny Manning is bringing three members of his Tulsa coaching staff with him.
Manning filled out his staff Wednesday by adding Steve Woodberry, Brett Ballard and Justin Bauman.
Woodberry and Ballard will be assistant coaches while Bauman will be his director of basketball operations. Those are the same roles they filled on the Tulsa staff.
Manning says they ''have an outstanding feel for the type of program we want to run.''
Manning previously said he would retain assistant Randolph Childress from Jeff Bzdelik's staff with the Demon Deacons.
Woodberry and Ballard both were assistants to Manning on his first Golden Hurricane team in 2012.
Wake Forest hired Manning two weeks ago after he led Tulsa to its first NCAA tournament berth since 2003.
