PHOTO: Kentucky fan gets tattoo of Willie Cauley-Stein's face on his calf
There are fans of sports teams. And then there are fans of sports teams.
Michael Gray, a die-hard Kentucky supporter with a special place in his heart for Wildcats forward Willie Cauley-Stein, falls into the latter category.
Gray made this declaration on Twitter while the 7-footer was pondering whether he would return for his junior season or make the jump the NBA.
@KySportsRadio if @TrillGeta15 comes back ill tattoo his face on me before the season starts

(Disregard the fact that he tagged the wrong player in the tweet. You know what he meant).
Of course, Cauley-Stein announced earlier this week that he will indeed be returning to Lexington next season.
Gray reacted accordingly:

You may call it stupidity. Others would call it an incredible show of fandom.
Either way, at least he followed through on his promise.
