Oregon State's Chai Baker 'doing very well' after collapsing at practice

Oregon State guard Chai Baker's condition has improved, but the freshman remains in hospital after collapsing during an informal preseason practice Tuesday morning.
"He's doing very well," Steve Clark, vice president of university relations and marketing at OSU told Gary Horowitz of the Statesman Journal. "He's off the ventilator, he's breathing on his own, and he's actually able to eat on his own now."
Baker, who suffered a "medical related heart incident," was in the intensive care unit Friday morning but Clark said the expectation is to move him out of the ICU later in the day.
"It's a remarkable turn of events considering what might have happened otherwise."
