New Mexico announces naming rights for home court

OK, so it's not the name they had in mind.

Either way, New Mexico has come to an agreement with local business WisePies Pizza & Salads on a 10-year deal which sees the company give $5 million to support the athletics department.

Henceforth, the Lobos will now play at WisePies Arena, also known as The Pit.

Each baseline will feature The Pit on it, while the company logo will appear on exterior signage of the arena as well as on Bob King Court and tickets. The company will also be recognized with an arena suite.

Long-story short, there's no hiding this name.
