Minnesota freshman forward Gaston Diedhiou has been cleared to play for the Gophers.
Analysis:
Diedhiou, who is from Senegal, had his eligibility held up until he passed an English proficiency exam and gained admission to the university. The 6'9" freshman is eligible to play immediately, and he may see some action Friday night against Seattle.
