Villanova may have lost an integral part of its team in a 82-77 win over Syracuse on Saturday.
Senior guard Darrun Hilliard is being examined for a possible concussion after hitting the floor hard in overtime, Syracuse.com's Chris Carlson reports.
"I don't have the total update but we're going through that concussion process," head coach Jay Wright said. "They told us he couldn't go back into the game. He wanted to go back in. He said he was fine. He continues to say he's fine."
Hilliard is the Wildcats' second-leading scorer, averaging 11.6 points per game in 27.3 minutes.
