San Diego State coach reacts to Dwayne Polee II collapsing on court
It was a scary scene when San Diego State senior forward Dwayne Polee II collapsed to the floor during the first half of Monday night's victory over UC Riverside.
Though he was conscious while being attended to and when he wheeled off the court, head coach Steve Fisher is still awaiting test results to understand what transpired.
"You fear for the worst when you first see it. Now I think all of us feel significantly better in terms of the report we were given from (athletic trainer Tom Abdenour)," Fisher said, according to Jeff Eisenberg of Yahoo Sports.
"We'll just pray that the tests can determine what the cause of it might be and move forward from there," he added.
Pollee finished the game with one rebound after five minutes of play and has season averages of 8.4 points and 2.8 rebounds.
