VCU's Weber suffers torn ACL, MCL and meniscus; college career over

It was a very unfortunate end to a very promising college basketball career Saturday as VCU announced that senior guard Briante Weber's suffered a devastating knee injury.
Weber was hurt during Saturday's game against Richmond and an MRI later revealed that he had torn his ACL, MCL and meniscus. Saturday night's game against the Spiders was his last as a college basketball player.
Weber was one of the team leaders in points, averaging 7.9 points, while leading the team with 4.4 assists per game. He was also 12 steals away from the NCAA record.
