Duke's Jahlil Okafor declares for NBA draft
Duke center Jahlil Okafor declared for the NBA draft Thursday.
The 6-foot-11, 270 pounder is expected to be in the running for the top pick in June's draft.
As a freshman, Okafor averaged 17.3 points with 8.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks. He scored 10 points with three rebounds in the Blue Devils' 68-63 national championship win over Wisconsin on Monday.

Okafor won the Wayman Tisdale Award as the top freshman in college basketball and was named a finalist for the Wooden Award, the award for the player of the year.
