President Barack Obama welcomed the 2015 national men's basketball champion Duke to the White House on Tuesday afternoon.

The Blue Devils topped Wisconsin in April to win the fifth title in school history, and the second in Obama's tenure as president. But while head coach Mike Krzyzewski has been to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. as a national champion as many as five times and met Obama there twice, it was a new experience for the players.

Obama attended Occidental College, Columbia, and Harvard, but while Harvard's had a basketball renaissance recently, he'll finish his POTUS tenure without having welcomed an alma mater. He also had Duke getting knocked out in the Final Four in his official bracket, but there didn't seem to be any hard feelings on either side.

The champions graduated three players to the NBA following the season, with Jahlil Okafor (No. 3, Philadelphia 76ers), Justise WInslow (No. 10, Miami Heat), and Tyus Jones (No. 24, Minnesota Timberwolves via Cleveland Cavaliers) getting selected in the first round. Each will now hope to eventually make the trip back to the White House as an NBA champion.
