Highly touted junior college forward Darrlyn Willis committed to Wichita State on Friday, according to NBC's Raphielle Johnson.
The 6-foot-9 power forward out of Pearl River Community College selected the Shockers over Arizona State.
"They pretty much told me that I was a missing piece to the puzzle, and they think that I can be an instant impact player,” Willis said.
Last season he averaged 13.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game as a freshman. He also shot nearly 63 percent from the field.
