Manhattan forward Jermaine Lawrence is withdrawing from the school and leaving the program, his mother informed ESPN's Jeff Goodman.
Lawrence took issue with a half-season suspension for a failed drug test in September, which he claims he was told would only be for one game. His mother also said he's still considering his options, which includes transferring to a Division II or III school and turning pro overseas.
The junior posted 4.8 points per game last season after transfering to the Jaspers from Cincinnati.
