ESPN commentator Dick Vitale expects John Calipari and Rick Pitino to remain at Kentucky and Louisville, respectively, for a long, long time.
"I've got a better shot of being a sex symbol than those guys leaving those jobs," Vitale said on Saturday's broadcast of the game between Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
While Calipari's name seems permanently entrenched in the NBA rumor mill, Pitino's recently been linked to the UNLV opening. As for Vitale, the 76-year-old is known for his energy on the mic, but not so much his dashing looks, so Kentucky and Louisville fans should feel safe about the status of their respective head coaches.
In any case, that line was "awesome, baby!"
