Central Connecticut State's Howie Dickenman to retire at season's end

Central Connecticut State head coach Howie Dickenman told Jeff Goodman of ESPN on Thursday he plans to retire at season's end.
Dickenman is the second-longest-tenured head coach in program history and has been in charge of the Blue Devils since 1996. He has compiled a 279-295 record.
The Blue Devils have made the NCAA tournament three times under Dickenman's tutelage, with the most recent appearance coming in 2007.
