Report: Texas' Cameron Ridley won't return for Big 12 tournament
Brendan Maloney / USA TODAY Sports
Texas big man Cameron Ridley has been sidelined by a broken foot since the end of December, and his absence will reportedly extend deeper into March.
A source told Jeff Goodman of ESPN on Thursday that Ridley will not play in the Big 12 tournament. There is, however, still a chance he could return at some point during the NCAA tournament.
Ridley, a senior, was averaging a double-double through 11 games prior to his injury. His 12.7 points and 10 rebounds per game are both career bests for the 285-pound Houston native.
