Wisconsin outlasted Pittsburgh on Friday to pull out a 47-43 win in what was the lowest-scoring NCAA tournament game since 2000.
It was also the third lowest-scoring game of the shot clock era and Wisconsin became the first team since 2003 to win a tournament game while scoring fewer than 50 points.
It was ugly start to finish as the Badgers scored just 16 points in the first half. But they were able to rebound in the second frame to put up an ungodly 31 points to put away the Panthers.
Seven teams scored more points in their first-round games than Wisconsin-Pitt combined.
