Columbia is set to hire NJIT's Jim Engles as its next head coach, sources told Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
The 47-year-old has been with the Highlanders since 2008, compiling a 111-139 record.
Engles would replace Kyle Smith, who departed to become the new head coach at San Francisco, and inherit a team that won 25 games this season and captured the CIT title.
