Harbaugh: A 'miracle' Drake Johnson avoided further injury in accident
After whispers that Michigan running back Drake Johnson was involved in a freak accident Wednesday during a Wolverines practice, Jim Harbaugh thinks his senior got lucky.
Reports surfaced that Johnson was struck with a forklift while stretching, and although Harbaugh didn't confirm what happened, he did say it was a "miracle" that Johnson wasn't hurt worse.
"Thank God he is all right," Harbaugh said, according to Angelique S. Chengelis of The Detroit News. "Would've killed a lesser man."
Whatever the accident actually was, it's another bad break for Johnson, who's already torn his ACL twice while at Michigan.
Johnson tweeted out that he was all right and he seems to have escaped serious injury. Harbaugh expects the running back to be sidelined for two-to-three weeks.
