UCLA and head coach Jim Mora agreed to a two-year contract extension, the school announced Tuesday. The new deal will keep Mora with the Bruins through 2021.
Mora has been at the helm at UCLA since 2012, compiling a 37-16 record since his arrival. His two best campaigns came in 2013 and 2014, when he guided the Bruins to a pair of 10-win seasons.
The 54-year-old's 37 wins equal a school record for most victories in a four-year stretch. Mora came to UCLA after a lengthy NFL coaching career that included stints as a head coach for the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks.
With rising-star quarterback Josh Rosen seemingly in the fold for at least two more years, Mora could position the Bruins as a national title contender in the near future.
