Wisconsin names Bart Houston starting quarterback vs. LSU

Wisconsin head coach Paul Chryst announced Thursday that fifth-year senior Bart Houston will be the starter when the Badgers face LSU in the season opener.

Houston, who'll replace Joel Stave, beat out redshirt freshman Alex Hornibrook for the position.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound signal-caller did see some action last season, completing 27 of 47 attempts for 281 yards and three touchdowns.
Wisconsin opens the 2016 campaign against LSU at Lambeau Field on Sept. 3.
