Nebraska honors Sam Foltz by lining up for punt with only 10 players
Nebraska sent only 10 players onto the field for a punt early in the first quarter of their season opener Saturday, resulting in a delay-of-game penalty. It was an infraction Cornhuskers head coach Mike Riley gladly accepted in order to pay respects to the late Sam Foltz, who died in a car accident in June.
The Cornhuskers lined up for the play without a kicker - the position Foltz played - as many players looked to the sky and pointed to the heavens.

Earlier in the day, Nebraska's equipment staff sent out a picture of Foltz's locker, which remains untouched. Fresno State also honored the kicker with a helmet decal.
