Notre Dame's Torii Hunter Jr: Exits game after taking huge hit
Hunter was removed from Sunday's game against Texas after taking a hard hit in the end zone, ND Insider's Mike Vorel reports.
Analysis:
Freshman Kevin Stepherson replaced Hunter, who finished with four catches for 37 yards and a touchdown. The senior nearly had a second score, but the ball was dislodged on a hit that should have been flagged. Prior to his exit, Hunter served as one of DeShone Kizer's primary targets, along with 6-4 sophomore Equanimeous St. Brown. Presumably diagnosed with a concussion, Hunter may not be available for Saturday's game against Nevada.
