Alabama's ArDarius Stewart: Will not play Saturday

Stewart (knee) will not play Saturday against Kent State, Marq Burnett of the AJC's SEC Country Blog reports. "Those guys aren't going to be out for a long time. Maybe a week or two, each one," said head coach Nick Saban regarding Stewart and Robert Foster.

Analysis:

Stewart was surprisingly upgraded to questionable earlier Thursday, but Saban effectively squashed that notion with his comments during his press conference. Fortunately, Stewart's knee is unlikely to keep him out much longer than Saturday's contest. Calvin Ridley, Cam Sims, and Gehrig Dieter should see most of the targets this week.
