Tennessee wide receiver Preston Williams has decided to transfer out of the Volunteers program, according to John Brice of 247Sports.com.
Williams was a four-star recruit in 2015, ranked the fifth best receiver in the country coming out of high school, and chose the Vols over Georgia and Alabama among others.
The 6-foot-4, 192-pound sophomore recorded 16 catches for 247 yards and two touchdowns in his 16-game career at Tennessee.
The Volunteers face No.1 Alabama on Saturday.
