Purdue kneels at half-yard line on kick return, then again out of timeout

Close your eyes, Purdue fans.
Down 35-7 late in the first half versus Iowa, the Boilermakers attempted to begin their massive comeback by kneeling at their own half-yard line on a kickoff return for reasons nobody can figure out.
Purdue then took a timeout with two seconds left in the half, only to take a knee immediately after, and go to the locker room for halftime.
So #Purdue took timeout, then took knee. Crowd boos as loud as a half-full crowd can boo.

Hey, at least they executed out of the timeout, right?
