Arizona quarterback Brandon Dawkins tweeted Tuesday he has cleared concussion protocol and will be eligible to play in the Wildcats' next game against Stanford on Oct. 29.
Dawkins missed last week's 48-14 loss to USC due to a concussion suffered against Utah on Oct. 8. The sophomore had started the previous five games, replacing the injured Anu Solomon.
Dawkins has thrown for 941 yards and five touchdowns, along with three interceptions this season. He has also rushed for 484 yards and eight touchdowns.
Seventeen-year-old freshman Khalil Tate made his first career start against the Trojans, going 7-for-18, with 58 yards passing, an interception, and a rushing touchdown.
