Keith Jackson's 4 greatest play-by-play calls

Legendary play-by-play announcer Keith Jackson turned 88 on Tuesday.

While Jackson has called everything from professional football to baseball, it's his voice on Saturday's that he is best known for.

In honor of one of college football's greatest voices in the booth, here are his four greatest calls.

Hello Heisman - Desmond Howard 1991

Michigan's Desmond Howard returned a 93-yard punt return for a touchdown against rivals Ohio State. Howard struck the famous Heisman pose and Jackson confirmed who the winner of the award would be, with "Heellloooo Heisman."

The Miracle at Michigan - 1994

Colorado scored two touchdowns in the final 2:16 against Michigan at the 'Big House.' The final score coming on a 64-yard Hail Mary from Kordell Stewart to Michael Westbrook with no time left on the clock. Before letting the sights and sounds describe the moment, Jackson voiced "Incredible."

Miami's Pass Interference - 2003

In the 2003 national championship game, Miami led 24-17 over underdog Ohio State in the first overtime period. With the Buckeyes facing fourth-and-three, Craig Krenzel's pass bounced out of Chris Gamble's hands, which ended the game and gave the Hurricanes back-to-back titles. Only a pass interference flag by the field judge gave Ohio State a new set of downs. The Buckeyes would tie the contest and eventually win the national title.

Invincible - 2006

In his last game as a broadcaster, Jackson may have called the most memorable national championship game ever. USC came into the Rose Bowl on a 34 game winning streak, Texas came in with the No. 2 ranking and stud dual-threat quarterback Vince Young. The Longhorns trailed 38-33 with 26 seconds and facing fourth-and-five, Young ran to the corner of the end zone for the score. Texas would hold on and Jackson gave us one last great call.
