Alabama head coach Nick Saban is always finding different ways to prepare his team.
Two weeks ago, Saban brought in former quarterback Blake Sims to help the Crimson Tide defense prepare for Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight. This week, to prepare for Saturday's game, Saban brought in another former quarterback: John Parker Wilson.
Wilson started at Alabama from 2006-08, and was the scout team quarterback for two practices this week, pretending to be LSU starter Danny Etling, according to Michael Casagrande of AL.com.
Wilson led the Crimson Tide to a SEC West title in 2008 before spending parts of five seasons with three NFL teams, though he never played in a regular-season game.
