Tyrann Mathieu donates $1M to LSU
Former LSU players Tyrann Mathieu and Patrick Peterson were in Baton Rouge Saturday for the Tigers' game against Alabama.
Mathieu mirrored his Arizona Cardinals teammate Saturday evening, when he donated $1 million to the Tigers football program.
Peterson pledged the same amount last fall to upgrade the football operations building, which Mathieu's donation will also be used for, along with endowed scholarships.

One. Million. Dollars.
With the Cardinals in a bye week, both served as honorary captains Saturday evening, but unfortunately their presence couldn't help LSU to a victory, as they fell 10-0 to the Crimson Tide.

Mathieu played two seasons for LSU, winning the defensive player of the year award in 2011, but was dismissed from the squad prior to 2012 for violating team rules.
In August, the Cardinals signed him to a five-year, $62.5-million extension.
