Syracuse QB Eric Dungey still undergoing tests, says coach
Syracuse quarterback Eric Dungey is undergoing tests, said coach Dino Babers on Wednesday via ACC Media teleconference.
"He's still under testing, and we'll make a release with the ACC on Thursday night," said Babers.
Dungey left Saturday's game to Clemson after taking a hard hit to the head from Dorian O'Daniel in the first quarter and did not return to the field.
"We're waiting for the tests to come back and that's going to clear up basically what our opportunities with or without him are going to be."
Both Austin Wilson and Zack Mahoney saw action with the sophomore out of the contest, and Babers stated how he would evaluate who plays Saturday against NC State.
"It'll be based off of the practices that we have this week along with the style of play and the play calling that we think will be most effective versus North Carolina State."
The Orange's starting signal-caller has thrown for 2679 yards and 15 touchdowns through nine games this season.
