Jim Harbaugh has earned a reputation during his time at Michigan for being outspoken, colorful, and sometimes even controversial, but he doesn't see his personality as being any sort of factor this Saturday against Urban Meyer and Ohio State .

Harbaugh downplayed the notion that some may think of him as being "crazy," during a press conference Monday, a notion that was seconded by multiple Michigan players, according to Mark Snyder of the Detroit Free Press.

When asked to describe himself to those in Ohio and to those who will be in attendance for "The Game," the Wolverines bench boss kept his response brief.

"I'm not crazy," Harbaugh said. "I wouldn't describe myself as that. I don't know my personality, how relevant that will be in the game this week. Probably irrelevant."

Harbaugh has been at the center of a number of different talking points over the course of the season, but his actions have clearly earned the respect of his players.

"He's not crazy, he just does things different," defensive end and Michigan co-captain Chris Wormley said. "When you're a top coach, you set yourself apart from the average ones. When your'e not average, you do things differently than everyone else."

Michigan right guard Kyle Kalis echoed Wormley's sentiments, praising the impact his coach has had on the program this season.

"Usually the most successful people have something off about them, that sets them apart from other people," Kalis said. "I think coach Harbaugh's a really good example of that."

So what did Harbaugh have to say about the competition from his Ohio State counterpart heading into one of the most anticipated games of the regular season?

"Unique in that it's at the highest level," Harbaugh said. "In terms of competition on the field and recruiting, Urban's at the highest level."
